At times their decision and planning do no go in their favor but still, the players keep moving and try to win the situation. the onboard situations can easily be related to real life. there are many times where we apply planning, strategy and techniques but they might not always be in our favor as thought!!!. Therefore like other games, chess has no limitations to being with. Rather it's learning that always leads to development. Promoting the same spirit of the game, the learning institute has been initiated, to involve as many people as possible in the process of leaning the game. As it is said," Development is where there is learning". So, let us are the development with the learning.
THE LESSON OF THE DAY
Identify your opponent’s threat.
It should become a reflex for you to ask yourself “what does my opponent want to do with his last move?” It doesn’t have to be a deadly threat that you are looking for all the time; it could be an idea, a plan he’d like to achieve.
Why is it helpful to do this? Besides lowering the risk of hanging a piece or blundering material, you can discover hidden prophylactic moves that put your opponent’s ideas on hold. Remember – it’s important to find a good plan, but it is equally important to keep your opponent from improving his own position.
